COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE
À l’issue des travaux tenus à Foumban et Yaoundé du 8 au 10 Août 2025, les candidats et leaders politiques engagés dans la dynamique du consensus pour l’élection présidentielle de 2025 au Cameroun tiennent à informer l’opinion nationale et internationale des résolutions suivantes:
RÉSOLUTIONS ADOPTÉES
- Mise en place effective du Comité Technique pour la Consolidation du Programme Commun.
Ce Comité a pour mission d’harmoniser les visions politiques, sociales et économiques des candidats engagés dans la démarche consensuelle. Il travaille à l’élaboration d’un Programme Commun, porteur d’espoir et de changement pour le Peuple camerounais.
- Création d’un Groupe de travail pour la Gestion des Représentants dans les Bureaux de Vote.
Ce Groupe de travail est chargé de coordonner la présence des Représentants dans les bureaux de vote à travers le territoire national et international. Elle veillera à la transparence du processus électoral et à la sécurisation du vote des citoyens.
PROCHAINES ÉTAPES
Les candidats ont convenu de poursuivre les consultations pour la candidature consensuelle en allant à la rencontre des autres candidats et leaders politiques, dans un esprit d’ouverture et de rassemblement. Une prochaine séance de travail est prévue dans les jours à venir, dont la date et le lieu seront communiqués.
ENGAGEMENT COMMUN
Nous réaffirmons notre engagement à œuvrer pour une alternance démocratique crédible fondée sur la volonté du peuple camerounais. La dynamique enclenchée à Foumban et renforcée à Yaoundé marque une étape décisive vers la Victoire du Peuple Souverain au lendemain du 12 Octobre 2025.

Following the meetings held in Foumban and Yaoundé from August 8 to 10, 2025, the candidates and political leaders engaged in the consensus-building process for the 2025 presidentialelection in Cameroonwish to inform national and international opinion of the followingresolutions:
ADOPTED RESOLUTIONS
- Effective Establishment of the TechnicalCommittee for the Consolidation of the Common Program
This Committeeistaskedwithharmonizing the political, social, and economic visions of the candidates committed to the consensus approach. It willwork on developing a Common Program thatembodieshope and change for the Cameroonian people.
- Creation of a Working Group for the Management of Polling Station Representatives
This Working Group isresponsible for coordinating the presence of representatives in polling stations across the national and international territory. It willensure the transparency of the electoralprocess and the security of citizens’ votes.
NEXT STEPS
The candidates have agreed to continue consultations for a consensus candidacy by engaging with other candidates and political leaders in a spirit of openness and unity. Another working session is scheduled in the coming days, with the date and venue to bean nounced.
SHARED COMMITMENT
We reaffirm our commitment to working toward a credible democratic transition based on the will of the Cameroonian people. The moment uminitiated in Foumban and strengthened in Yaoundé marks a decisive step toward the victory of the Sovereign People following October 12, 2025.
